AmeriFlux Ecological Monitoring - North Slope

The AmeriFlux network was established in 1996. The network provides continuous observations of ecosystem level exchanges of CO2, water, energy and momentum spanning diurnal, synoptic, seasonal, and interannual time scales and is currently composed of sites from North America, Central America, and South America.

Stations found within the North Slope of Alaska are located in Atqasuk, Barrow, Prudhoe Bay, Happy Valley, Ivotuk, Imnavait, and Anaktuvuk River (unburned, moderate burn, and severe burn sites). Ecological, meteorological, and soil chemistry data are available from each of the sites.
