ULS and ADCP: ASL Chukchi Data: Current, Ice Velocity, Source Book Data, Water Properties, Waves

Shell Exploration & Production Company (Shell) initiated offshore deployments of Upward Looking Sonar and Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers in the Beaufort Sea starting in 2005 and the Chukchi Sea starting in 2008. ASL Environmental Sciences Inc. was tasked with executing field surveys related to the following subjects: ice keel depth, ice velocity and ocean current profile measurements. Analysis and report writing were carried out through 2014. Field survey data is also included from ConocoPhillips and Statoil Chukchi Sea mooring deployments in the Chukchi Sea for the 2008-2012 period.

Data available through this record include current, ice velocity, source book data, water properties and waves. See link below for associated ULS/ADCP records.

All field data from the Shell, ConocoPhillips and Statoil programs are also available via NOAA at http://data.nodc.noaa.gov/accession/0093399.
