Final Inigok Meteorological Monitoring Report and Data: April 2014-July 2020

The Final Station Report presents a summary of the more than six years of PSD quality meteorological data collection at the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) National Petroleum Reserve – Alaska (NPR-A) Inigok station. This Final Station Report provides an overview of station activity. All information was extracted from: annual reports from April 2014 – March 2019, quarterly reports for April 2019 to March 2020 (Appendix B), and a report for the extended monitoring period (Appendix C). A link to individual reports is provided below. The final, full, valid dataset is attached to this report as a comma-separated values (CSV) file.

Key station summaries include:

• Graphical summaries of meteorological parameters for entire data collection period;

• Valid data recovery rates obtained during each reporting year for all monitored parameters;

• Evaluation of the backup instrument data usage;

• Description of data collection challenges;

• Summary of station visits including calibration, audit, and emergency visits; and

• Equipment modifications and replacements.

The station was shut down and dismantled in July 2020. The data have been used for the model performance evaluation for the 2017-2019 WRF (Weather Research and Forecast model) contracted by BLM to support future Alaska North Slope dispersion or photochemical air quality modeling air quality analyses. The final report for that study is available using the link below.
