Nuiqsut Paisaŋich: 1979

In 1979, William Brown prepared a cultural plan for the Iñupiaq community of Nuiqsut, Alaska, entitled Nuiqsut Paisaŋich (translated as Nuiqsut Heritage). The purpose of this update document was to describe the community of Nuiqsut’s cultural ties to their land and to describe the community’s cultural landscape.

An update to the Nuiqsut Paisaŋich is in preparation.
