Baseline Commmunity Health Analysis:North Slope Borough

This project started in 2008 with a NPR-A Impact Grant and was administered by the North Slope Borough Health Department. This report is the first comprehensive analysis of baseline health status within the North Slope region. The report contains information on overall health, cancer, injury, chronic disease, respiratory disease, maternal and child health, mental and behavioral health and infectious disease. Also included are the results of the 2010 NSB Census health module for each individual village.

This report serves as an essential resource in developing strategies to improve community health and understand health trends in the North Slope region.
