BLM NPRA Integrated Activity Plan (2020) and Special Areas

Link to BLM eplanning website with Integrated Activity Plan (IAP) documents for the National Petroleum Reserve - Alaska (NPR-A).

Shapefiles can be downloaded that represent the Special Areas as defined in the previous NPR-A planning effort. Special Areas were identified to provide additional protections for significant values. Please see NPR-A planning documents for a detailed description of the Special Areas depicted by these shapefiles and the best management practices associated with these areas.

These areas are: Colville River Special Area Utukok River Uplands Special Area Teshekpuk Lake Special Area Peard Bay Special Area Kasegaluk Lagoon Special Area
