The effects of climate warming on the landscape, fauna and ecology of the North Slope over the last 15,000 years.

US Bureau of Land Management (BLM) - During the last 15,000 years four significant climate warming events have occurred on the North Slope. Data regarding these events have been obtained from exposed geologic sections, lake-bottom sediments, and faunal remains.
